Winemaker's Comments

Le Ducq is a Bordeaux style, Meritage red wine, the dream of our founder, Jean Leducq. Each vintage will be the best in premium red wines for the distinguishing connoisseur seeking an exceptional wine that will last for ten years and more. This Vintage, 1994, represents the eight release of Le Ducq.

Blackberries and plums well integrated with echoes of oak and vanilla are eager to age in this tenacious and tight package. The full velvety flavors with bright ripe tannins are firm and focused, yet fan out later to a slight cigar smoke boysenberry quality.
