Winemaker's Comments
Intense and stately, this wine reflects the French winemaking
tradition called upon by Leducq vineyards.
Exotic, elusive fruit are presented by this impressive wine with
remarkable finesse. The fleshy and nicely weighted flavors linger
on the mid-palate, accentuated by beautifully incorporated oak
and tannins. Rich leather and earth characters develop in the long
finish.
Storage Hints: This wine is delicious and powerful now. Cellar
aging will reward the connoisseur, however, with a fully developed
and integrated masterpiece of winemaking.
Serving Hints: Serve at cool room temperature. To reach the
fullest enjoyment of the 1995 Le Ducq, pair it with rich foods like
lamb, beef, and game.
